"But I don't want to go among mad people," Alice remarked. "Oh, you can't help that," said the Cat: "we're all mad here. I'm mad. You're mad."
"How do you know I'm mad?" said Alice. "You must be," said the Cat, "or you wouldn't have come here."

A confession

I have not seen Star Wars: The Phantom Menace. Nor have I seen... *searches brain frantically for a title*...the second one either.

Should I?

*killing myself laughing*

It was too perfect that you didn't know the title of the second one. Errr, revenge of the clones or attack of the clones or the woohoo of the clones. Or was it clowns?

Yeah, I saw the first one and part of my soul died. I'm unsure if I've seen the second one. How horrid is that from a girl who has first grade class pictures with her hair in princess leia buns. I was too damned cute.

Well... They're pretty funny. In a sad kind of way. In Phantom Menace Ewan McGregor does an amazing imitation of Alec Guiness. It's gone, much like Halle Berry's attrocious "accent" from the first X-Men movie, by the Attack of the Clowns. (Hee. Clowns. I am going to call it that from now on.)

I couldn't remember whether I had seen Star Wars II or not--Jenn had to tell me I had seen it, because I had mentioned seeing it to her.

To honor the original trilogy, Jenn is going to dress up in her princess leia buns and a bikini, and we are going to re-enact scenes. Going with a Jabba the Hut suit for myself was vetoed.

I think you should watch them all. I am not nearly so cynical as your other readers. :-) Of course, I can't stay awake for The Phantom Menace, so there ya go.

I'm hoping to find a theatre where I can see it this weekend. I don't have tickets yet, so it may not happen.

The *only* Star Wars film I've seen is Attack of the Clones.

Which means half the world might want to stake me for not having seen the original three.

Hey, I was raised on James Bond [shrug]
